The farmhouse swimming pool. We finally did it! Another little extra step to make the Martelletto more welcoming.
The maximum height of the swimming pool is as per regulation so as not to need a lifeguard … 1 meter and 50 centimeters to always feel at ease and to be able to comfortably lean on the edge and enjoy the open view of the valley and the hills that surround us.
The minimum height is a pleasant 40 cm of water, the right one that serves to stay fresh and laze. For the little ones, then, it’s the best.
For the bottom we chose the black color for the lower part, and anthracite gray for the rest. This is to extend the season and heat the water even in the first few months and until early October.
For sunbathing there is a comfortable walkway that surrounds the entire perimeter of the pool (12×4), or you can also lie down on the edge made of handmade terracotta and produced here in Cingoli by small artisans.
In short, from morning to late afternoon the swimming pool is always sunny and it is a place to get back to peace with the world, in the silence of the sounds of nature.
Then shower and at the table to try our dishes.
It doesn’t seem like a bad program for a weekend or a holiday at Martelletto, a stone’s throw from the Frasassi Caves.
